Little Book of Cheese

Great quality books and clothing. The wrong book (cookies) was accidentally shipped in place of the book ordered (cheese) and the al dente onesie was left out but the customer service was wonderful. She was kind and apologetic about the simple mix up, and generous in allowing us to keep the cookie book so we added it to the baby shower gift for a close friend. The missing items were sent promptly. Our friend adored all the items. We will definitely recommend this shop to friends!

This is an adorable board book. It's punny and humorous and the rhymes are silly. A fun read, over and over. Five stars.

Pros:-The concept of the book is very cute, introducing a variety of cheeses, along with some history as well.-The illustrations are cute and simple, providing a focus on the words-The book is made of a good quality stock and appropriate thickness with durability for the intended age groupCons:-The age range for the book is 1-4, yet it uses words like: extensively, perpetually, and caprese. Some of these 5 syllable words are probably too advance for the intended audience.

My daughter is a huge fan of this book! She also has the pasta and cookie book by this author. She's 5 and loves when I read it to her and her baby sister. It's because of this book that my daughter was brave enough to try gorgonzola cheese for the first time. Very fun little board book.

Okay, so the book and content itself is great. We got it to read to our son. Both us parents love cheese and it seemed like a good idea to start him early. The ONLY reason I am rating this 3 stars is because there must be something wrong with the manufacturing of this book. The first one we received came warped, so I decided to return it for another one because it doesn't sit well on the shelf with the other books and it just annoyed me to get a warped book. I thought maybe it was something that occurred in the shipping process. Low and behold, we got the replacement and it is just as warped as the first one, possibly worse. This leads me to believe it must be a manufacturing issue as opposed to shipping. I keep trying to bend it and warp it back to straight, but it really wants to stay bent. I have attached pictures of both books (and no, they are not the same book even though you might think they are). If you can get a flat book, or get past the fact they tend to come bent, then it is a pretty cute book overall.

High quality, cute little board book!I'd say the age range is appropriate , my boys enjoyed this little cheese book a lot lol.I like that it is a board book too, as they can still be a little rough with books.

I got these for my son to read to him! He’s a little italian meatball! I literally thought they were the cutest ideas for books and ordered right away! Obsessed!!

This is a very cute book that any foodie would love to read to their baby. There are eight different cheeses that are discussed in this book. The only thing I don’t like is that some of the corners of the cover were peeling back. That would make me think twice before giving it as a gift. If I was in a store, I would look for it different book that didn’t have the peeling.

Although this was a gift for my youngest granddaughter, they both loved this book and asked to hear it over and over. They also want to try the cheeses from the book that they haven’t had before! I will be ordering more of these books.

Cute item. I agree with another reviewer that I could've used a few more cheeses represented in the book. It felt like a really short read for a kid.
Another note: If you're shipping to Hawaii or possibly Alaska or a more remote area, you might want to factor in a much longer shipping time than advertised. It took a full 2 weeks to get this item. Lots of lag time in the shipping journey.
