Fun Books

I love these books. They're fun to read and the colors are bright for kiddos. Very durable and the box it comes in makes for easy storage to put away. My kids love them.

Entertaining and easy for a baby to see

Oh man, I love these books and so does my 3-month-old. The pictures are richly saturated and the foods make simple shapes she can enjoy. The prose is a little odd in places. There's one line in the tomatoes book where it describes tomatoes as a “construction,” in order to have it rhyme with the next line. But they're good for educating about these foods. Since I'm apparently a child, I enjoyed the mention of what happens after you eat enoki mushrooms. I've been reading one or two of the books to my baby every day for the past few weeks, and they've held up wonderfully. No bending or fraying yet. Pretty reasonable value for the set.

So adorable, really unique and informative!

I got these books on a complete whim. My 1 year old loves to flip through books on her own so I need books that will hold up to her handling. When I first got them, I honestly thought they looked a little weird. But they were bright and vibrant so I read through them all, and they're actually really great! Such a fun way to teach kids about different types of foods. I learned a few things myself actually! They're perfect for little hands, and the photos keep the kiddo interested. As surprised as I am to say it, these are probably our new favorite books! The biggest stand out to me is that usually informative books are so boring. These have rhymes and stories to keep interest high. I read them at night to my 1 year old, 4 year old and 7 year old and they all loved them!

Can't wait to read them with little one

Very cute books with clear graphics and fun poems. My little one isn't at the reading for herself she yet, but I can't wait to read these to her and introduce her to food we don't eat in the regular in picture form. The pages feel durable which is good because we have a book slapper.

Really special collection.

I love this little collection of books. I think it brings a great learning to children. Each book consisting of cookies, fungi, pasta, cheese and tomatoes teaches kids about the different foods. It makes them fun for learning and reading. The pages are a thick pressed board type that is shiny with really fun, cute illustrations. The specific book I chose to show is the Pasta book. The example page shows the elbow macaroni with the pronunciation of the word as well as a little information about it. Not every book in the collection does this, but I do like this aspect of this one. My grandkids will eventually get to have these to go along with their play kitchen. I think it can help children to maybe become more open to trying new and different foods as well as improving their reading skills.

Adorable Little Book Set for Future Foodies

This 5-piece culinary board book set for babies is so cute. It comes packaged in a really nice box, which makes it feel giftable right away. Mine had a dented corner but it was minor. And will likely look much worse when my kid is done with it but still...The books themselves are a good, sturdy thickness, which is always important for babies and toddlers who aren't exactly gentle with pages, am I right?! The images are bright and colorful, and while the designs are simple, they're still engaging and interesting for little ones.Overall, these are such a fun pick, especially for a foodie family. Definitely a great buy for babies and toddlers.

Future Foodie Literature

A great buy for the culinary family. This is such a cute fun take on kids "food" books. It's definitely catered more for my older todller than my infant but I found myself reading it to both of them during story time. My daughter loves going through each of the books as we read them together. The books itself are packaged in a set and are easy to store. The illustrations are vibrant and colorful. The stories are written in fun rhymes. I'm surprised by some of the names of foods that I didn't even know existed! It's also very durable and good quality. The pages are of very thick card stock so we don't foresee any rips from either of our kids if they get their hands on it unsupervised.Makes for a great gift too!

The cutest set of books

I genuinely love this book set. It's one of the most unique collections we own, and it's been a favorite with our child - and honestly, the adults too. Right away, the quality stood out. The board books are thick and sturdy, the kind that can handle real toddler life (chewing, tossing, aggressive page-turning…). The size is great for little hands to hold on their own, and the rounded corners make them feel safe and durable. They don't feel flimsy or disposable. You can tell they were made to last. The content is really what makes them special, though. Each book focuses on a different food theme - cheese, pasta, fungi, tomatoes, cookies - which is such a fun and unexpected concept for baby books. The rhymes are clever without being grating (which is important when you're reading the same book over and over in one day). They flow well out loud and don't feel awkward or forced. The illustrations are bold and high-contrast enough to grab a baby's attention, but they still have a slightly sophisticated feel that keeps older toddlers interested too.I also appreciate how they introduce a wide range of foods in a positive, curious way. It's not just the usual “safe” toddler fare. Seeing things like different pasta shapes, mushrooms, and cheeses presented as fun and normal feels like a small but meaningful way to encourage food curiosity early on.Design-wise, they're beautiful. They actually look nice sitting out on a coffee table or bookshelf, which isn't something I say about most kids' books. They'd make such a good baby shower or first birthday gift - especially for parents who love cooking or just appreciate thoughtful design. We reach for these constantly, and they've become part of our regular rotation. Between the durability, the creativity, and the genuinely enjoyable writing, this set feels special. If you want a baby or toddler book gift that's a little different - smart, stylish, and fun - this one's a winner.

Feed the curious books are so cool

As a parent, I'm genuinely impressed with these books. They're not just bright and fun to look at they're actually packed with information in a way little ones can understand. Even I've learned a few things reading them together! The sturdy cardboard pages are perfect for tiny hands and have held up really well. I love how they introduce pasta, fungi, cheese, tomatoes, cookies, and even colors in such a creative, unique way completely different from most children's books we own. My little one just soaks it all in.For the quality, the price feels more than fair. These have quickly become favorites in our home.

A Sophisticated and Playful Board Book Set for the Littlest Foodie

This starter collection of five board books (Cheese, Cookies, Fungi, Pasta, and Tomatoes) is a truly unique and delightful addition to our nursery library. Unlike typical baby books that focus solely on basic colors or animals, these books introduce real, diverse food concepts in a way that is both engaging and aspirational. My toddler loves pointing at the vibrant illustrations of orecchiette and heirloom tomatoes, and the witty, upbeat rhyming poetry keeps her focused from cover to cover. The design is stunning. The high-contrast, expressive art is specifically tailored to capture an infant's attention, while the playful typography and sophisticated aesthetic make the set a welcome break from overly cutesy baby decor. These books look as good on a coffee table as they do in a playroom. The thick, premium cardboard and rounded corners have held up beautifully to daily chewing, dropping, and enthusiastic page turning—built to survive a curious toddler and then some.As a parent who loves to cook, I appreciate that this set helps build a positive relationship with “unexpected” ingredients like chanterelle mushrooms and tangy gorgonzola. It has genuinely sparked conversations about food and encouraged my child to be more adventurous at mealtime. This set makes a perfect, personality-driven gift for a baby shower, first birthday, or any modern, food-loving family. It's thoughtful, beautiful, and genuinely educational. Highly recommended.

Fantastic! Quality is surpurb!

one of our all time favorite book brands. These are a hoot and a delight, my kiddos love learning about the new foods and we usually look up pictures of each item after (especially mushrooms) and its a great learning time. The rhyming is adorable and educational. Great gift set for a shower of a mama or daddy foodie!

Beautifully made board books that hold up to real baby use

This five-book set has been read, chewed, dropped, and stacked more times than is worth counting, and every volume remains in solid shape. The board construction is thick and well-finished at the edges, which matters for the age group these are aimed at. Illustrations are the real strength here: vibrant, considered, and genuinely interesting to look at for adults reading alongside a child, which makes repeated read-alouds sustainable rather than tedious. Each subject, cheese, cookies, fungi, pasta, and tomatoes, is handled with a level of visual specificity that introduces real variety and vocabulary without being overwhelming for young readers. They work equally well as standalone reads or as a thematic set. An honest note: the content skews more toward aesthetic appreciation and early vocabulary than traditional plot-driven narrative, so they complement rather than replace story-based board books. As a baby shower gift they present beautifully together, and as an everyday reading option they earn their shelf space. A well-executed set for families who want their youngest readers surrounded by something a little more considered.

These board books are adorable and perfect for a foodie baby shower gift. The illustrations are vibrant and the topics like cheese, cookies, and pasta are so fun. Brilliant Bookset! Great gifts or for your own kiddo

As a self proclaimed "foodie", I absolutely loved the idea of further introducing the 'fun of food' to my little one, in a way that also involves the brilliance of reading.I was not disappointed. These books are fabulous! The colors are vibrant, with quick tidbits on each page, enough to learn something, but not enough to make your kiddos eyes glaze over, which is a delicate balance!I've learned how to correctly pronounce a few different things and my daughter is learning new words phoenitically in a fun way, in addition to getting familiar with items that are a-typical for children's books.
